Business Exemption List

Ivy House Business Directory – Prohibited Business Categories
Effective: July 2025

To maintain the integrity, safety, and values of the Ivy House platform, the following business categories and activities are strictly prohibited from being listed, promoted, or registered within the Ivy House Directory:

  1. Human trafficking, including the sale, offering, or solicitation of persons in any form.

  2. Sale, trade, or distribution of human body parts, including organs, tissues, blood, and body fluids.

  3. Adoption services involving payment or solicitation for the adoption or fostering of children.

  4. Escort services, adult entertainment, pornography, or sexually explicit material.

  5. Gambling, betting, lotteries, or any form of games of chance.

  6. Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, and all unlicensed investment programmes.

  7. Unlicensed financial services, speculative trading platforms, cryptocurrency exchanges lacking recognised regulation.

  8. Sale or promotion of firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons of any kind.

  9. Tobacco products, vaping devices, and recreational drugs, including unlicensed CBD products.

  10. Unlicensed medical services, including alternative therapies not regulated by a recognised authority.

  11. Sale of counterfeit goods, replicas, knock-offs, or any goods infringing intellectual property rights.

  12. Political campaigns, lobbying organisations, or activist groups.

  13. Businesses promoting hate speech, violence, discrimination, or unlawful activity.

Important: Ivy House reserves the right to assess all business applications on a case-by-case basis. Inclusion in the Directory is at Ivy House’s sole discretion. Listings breaching this policy will be removed without refund.
