An Ivy Group profile is a curated expression of your professional journey, expertise, the legacy you are building and your Ivy Community membership. It demonstrates the scope of your work, the significance of your achievements, and the ambition that drives you forward. Your membership and your profile serve as an introduction to fellow members building their own legacies and a source of inspiration for the next generation, who will look to your accomplishments as an example. This is not a social media showcase. Profiles must centre on professional identity and career accomplishments, giving members a clear and honest understanding of who you are in a professional contexts. Please review these guidelines carefully when creating your profile. Submissions that do not meet the standards will not be approved or published. If relevant, our team will reach out if any content or imagery requires adjustment in order to meet the guidelines.

Acceptable Images

Unacceptable Images
Avoid photos that distract from your professional achievements:
Selfies or phone mirror photos.

Requirements
Links must connect to credible and high-quality domains, such as company websites, media features, published articles, or official platforms.
Do not link to casual personal pages or non-professional social media accounts.
Ensure that all links are active, accurate, and free from broken or outdated content.
Keep links selective to maintain a clean and focused profile.

Links should strengthen credibility and direct members to professional sources that enhance their understanding of your expertise and achievements. Every link should reinforce your authority in your field.

Requirements
Content must be original and created by the member or their organisation.
Free downloads should provide genuine professional value and align with Ivy Group standards.
Workshop material must be educational, credible, and relevant to members’ professional growth.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Ivy Group team before publication.
Purpose
This feature is designed to showcase expertise and create opportunities for knowledge sharing within the community. By invitation, members can contribute resources that reflect their authority and support the ambitions of others.

Profiles may highlight the expertise and services that members provide, but selling must be handled with discretion and professionalism. Ivy Group is not a marketplace and direct selling is not permitted within profiles.
Requirements
You may describe your area of expertise and outline the services you provide.
Any offers must be framed as part of your professional identity, not as advertisements.
Pricing, promotional language, or hard sales copy is not allowed.
All service mentions must reflect genuine expertise and align with Ivy Group standards.
Members interested in your services should be directed through professional channels such as your company website or LinkedIn.
Find an Expert: Ivy Group is currently beta launching a feature called Find an Expert, which allows members to directly list their services on the platform. This is the only approved way to sell a service or product directly within Ivy Group, and it is available by invitation only during the initial rollout.
Purpose
These rules preserve the integrity of Ivy Group as a space for connection, credibility, and inspiration. They ensure members can learn about your expertise without profiles becoming sales-driven, while creating a structured pathway for service offerings through Find an Expert.

Within Ivy Group, the term expert refers to a member with recognised knowledge, skills, or experience in a specific professional field. Expertise can be demonstrated through qualifications, leadership roles, published work, industry recognition, or years of practice.
Your area of expertise is the professional field, discipline, or service in which you have developed authority. This should be clearly defined and framed in a way that communicates value to other members.
Requirements
Clearly state your area of expertise without exaggeration.
Ensure your listed services or skills align with your proven background.
Avoid vague or inflated titles (e.g., “guru” or “world’s best”). Use professional terminology.
Purpose
Clarifying expertise ensures that Find an Expert remains a trusted directory of credible professionals. Members and organisations using the feature must be confident that listed experts are genuine authorities in their field.

Ivy Women profiles are reserved for women in leadership, business, and professional roles who are actively shaping their industries and building their legacies. The goal is to maintain a credible, high-calibre community that inspires both peers and the next generation.
Requirements
Members must hold, or have held, recognised professional, executive, or entrepreneurial roles.
Profiles should demonstrate a track record of ambition, leadership, or meaningful contribution in a chosen field.
Applications are reviewed by the Ivy Group team to ensure alignment with community standards.
Acceptance is based on professional merit, not social following or popularity.
Purpose
Eligibility criteria protect the quality and integrity of the network, ensuring Ivy Group remains a trusted space for ambitious women who are committed to leadership, progress, and impact.
All profiles require a one time registration fee. This applies to both Ivy Women and entries in the Emerging Leaders Directory. The fee supports the administration, review, and maintenance of credible profiles across the Ivy Group community.

The Emerging Leaders Directory recognises ambitious women at the early or mid stages of their careers or ventures, including tertiary students. These members are building the foundations of their professional journey, developing businesses (early stage directors), or pursuing impactful career paths (entry level).
The directory is designed to show ambition, potential, and direction. Profile cards include:

Current role or stage (e.g., student, founder, associate)

Goal or area of focus
The purpose of the Emerging Leaders Directory is to create a space where ambition is seen and supported. It allows members to connect with Ivy Women who share their expertise and lessons, fostering mentorship, collaboration, and growth.
All profiles require a one time registration fee. This applies to both Ivy Women and entries in the Emerging Leaders Directory. The fee supports the administration, review, and maintenance of credible profiles across the Ivy Group community.

When associated with the Ivy Group members are expected to conduct themselves in a graceful and respectful manner. Ivy Group reserves the right to remove any profile if public behaviour or offensive, discriminatory commentary reflects poorly on the community.
If a profile is removed, the member will be given notice. Registration fees are non-refundable.

To protect the credibility and values of The Ivy Group and the members, certain careers and lines of work are not eligible for inclusion.

Adult entertainment and related industries
e.g., sex work, pornography, escort services, cam work, or sexually explicit content.Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) and pyramid-style sales schemes

Purpose
Ivy Group exists to highlight women in professional, entrepreneurial, and executive contexts. These exclusions respectfully ensure the platform remains trusted, credible, and aligned with values of leadership, integrity, and legacy building.
Ivy Group reserves the right to enforce these guidelines in order to protect the integrity and credibility of the community. Profiles, entries, or conduct that do not meet the required standards may be withheld, revised, or removed. The guidelines may also be updated or amended as the platform evolves, ensuring continued alignment with Ivy Group’s values of professionalism, leadership, and legacy building.
