Event Summary

On Friday 27th March, The Ivy Group hosted its first International Women’s Day event. The evening marked not only a global celebration of women, but also one year since the Ivy Group first opened its doors.

The event took place at the Maritime Hotel, at the Anno 1743 restaurant and distillery. It brought together a group of women to share meaningful conversations across a range of deeply personal and universal themes, including womanhood, marriage, motherhood, education, culture, professional pathways, health, divorce and love. What stood out most was the ease with which these topics created connection. The dialogue felt natural, open and immediate, reflecting the shared understanding that exists across lived experiences.

It was a privilege to listen, to share, and to hold space for these moments. The evening carried a quiet depth, shaped by honesty, reflection and a genuine sense of community. Every guest contributed to an atmosphere that felt both considered and effortless.

This occasion also marked the first introduction of a younger collegiate, as we welcomed our daughters to the table. Their presence added a new dimension to the evening. It created an opportunity not only for connection among women, but also for intergenerational exchange. The daughters participated in conversation, received their own gift bags, and were introduced to a space that reflects the standard, confidence and community we hope they will grow into. Their inclusion set a clear and intentional precedent for the future.

The evening was defined by thoughtful conversation, elegant presence and a shared sense of purpose. It was a privilege to host and to witness.
