The Ivy Group is seeking an Early Career Journalist to join our growing editorial team. This role offers a springboard for an emerging journalist to develop their portfolio while contributing to a meaningful body of work celebrating exceptional women in leadership.

You will conduct in-person and video interviews, attend member meetings and events, and produce written articles, transcripts, and features that capture the stories, personalities, and journeys of our network. The ideal candidate is a keen storyteller with the ability to translate authentic conversations into elegant, compelling written and visual narratives.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident in engaging with high-profile women and professionals.

• Ability to conduct interviews and write fluently in English and/or French.

• Proven interest in women’s rights, leadership, and advocacy.

• Strong research and writing skills with attention to tone, accuracy, and depth.

• Ability to deliver high-quality work for both online and print publication.

• Video interview or multimedia experience is an advantage.

• Must be available for 2–4 in-person meetings per month in Grand Baie.

• Experience 1+ year industry. Training will be given if required.

Rates:

Pay per approved submission based on experience. Pay is also dependent on the format (article, research, interview + word length)
