Dayle Thorpe Clarke | December 2025
Congratulations to Dayle for an extraordinary month of personal and professional expansion. She began a nano-degree in Predictive Analytics, maintained a regular hot yoga practice, and designed a coursework assignment with an in-class test for the degree module that she is lecturing. She delivered two Design Thinking workshops, conducted research interviews with government and academic leaders, and presented a User Journey Map to the UK National Cyber Security Centre. Dayle also made several strategic financial moves, including purchasing her first gold bullion, increasing her private equity investment, and opening two trading accounts, as well as investing in a WeWork office. This was a month defined by deep learning, disciplined wellbeing, and purposeful wealth building.

Congratulations to Ann-Marie for co-facilitating a powerful leadership masterclass with Vivien Katzav, guiding women in defining and embodying their leadership identity. She also completed an important data-gathering initiative on women’s health experiences in Mauritius, forming the guiding work for her Foundation. A meaningful step in her mission to drive structural change for women.

Congratulations to Edyta for a remarkable month. She successfully guided her La Plage mentee through the full mentorship programme, earned a refeature on RM1 Radio for NouZetwals, opened national nominations, and launched the new NouZetwals website. Her leadership continues to shape national conversations and create meaningful impact across Mauritius.

Congratulations to Chand Baungally on her first national partnership campaign with Fruitti Swirl, now featured across Mauritius and social platforms. Chand has also celebrated a strong start to her new fitness platform, making her first sales and successfully diversifying her income through her mentorship with Alyx Jordan. A powerful step in her growing entrepreneurial journey.

She spoke at multiple high-level events, including the International Symposium on Women’s Rights, the UNFPA panel on ethical communication, and the national GBV reporting workshop. Her contributions continue to strengthen public understanding, influence policy, and advance advocacy across the region.

Congratulations to Dr Lizette Labuschagne for an outstanding month of professional contribution. She delivered CPD training at the Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies and presented her research on psychological safeguarding and trauma-informed practice to national audiences. This is a huge moment in her standing as a leading practitioner in her field, and we are delighted to welcome her to the Ivy Group.
Alyx Jordan | December 2025
Congratulations to Alyx for her progress directing The Jordan Group. She formally piloted her mentorship programme with Chand after four months, guiding her from concept to revenue. Her team have debuted a dedicated online presence for The Jordan Group, presenting each venture as part of a cohesive and structured portfolio. Alyx has taken part in a wide range of industry engagements this month, including UN discussions, leadership development forums, award ceremonies, and events hosted by members of the Ivy Group. She is currently travelling with her family across Asia, America, and Europe and has coordinated an international academic programme with Natasha Ali to support her children’s studies throughout this period. Alyx is also preparing to host the first ‘2026 Planning Conference’ on Thursday 18 December, bringing together ambitious women for professional reflection on 2025 and strategic planning for 2026.

Nouzetwals has announced their new Steering and Judging Panels, with Dr. Lizette among those successfully appointed. In addition, Dr. Lizette has been invited to deliver a professional training session titled “Safeguarding the Best Interests of the Child in Institutional and Professional Frameworks”, taking place this November. This public conference, held in collaboration with key institutions and policymakers, aims to strengthen multidisciplinary approaches to child protection. It represents a significant recognition of Dr. Lizette’s continued leadership and expertise in the field of child psychology and forensic assessment. Congratulations, Lizette.
Alyx Jordan | November 2025
Congratulations to Alyx Jordan for expanding her web design agency, Studio West, to include AI-built apps and websites, now developed and managed by her in-house team. Alyx has also successfully structured her first private investment, establishing a three-year revenue agreement. In addition, she has piloted her Incubation Programme for founders seeking to diversify their income, working with Chand Baungally on the launch of her first digital platform. Alyx has also begun writing her 4th book - ‘The 30 day MVP’.

A special thank you and congratulations to Crystal Halbmaier for hosting a beautifully curated family event at the start of November. The gathering brought together friends, dignitaries, and diplomats from across Mauritius, reflecting her remarkable ability to create connection through thoughtful organisation and warm hospitality. Having arrived in Mauritius only three months ago, Crystal coordinated an event for nearly one hundred guests, complete with elegant décor, catering, and entertainment. With nearly two decades of international experience in strategy, programme design, and stakeholder engagement, her professionalism and attention to detail shone through in every element. Priscilla Li Ying | November 2025
Priscilla Li Ying will be speaking at the ‘Action for Women’s Rights, Equality and Empowerment’ International Symposium this November, organised in collaboration with Curtin University and the Curtin University Gender Research Network. Marking the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action, the symposium will unite experts and practitioners from across the Indian Ocean to shape a forward-looking policy agenda on gender equality. Priscilla continues to be a leading advocate for change, championing women’s rights on an international scale and promoting the education of young adults. She uses her platform to influence global policy and remains a steadfast advocate and beacon of progress. Congratulations, Priscilla.
Eleesha Khan Chady | November 2025
Eleesha is the head of the Elan Group, effortlessly leading her venture across continents. Over the past few months she has been flying relentlessly between Mauritius and France, managing her Mauritian office, and setting up her French office. Not only has Eleesha been managing her empire, but she has also been lecturing too. Under Eleesha’s direction, the Elan Group now has global presence across Africa, Dubai and France. The Elan Group continues to expand through new subsidiary structures, extending into international real estate, global procurement, and large-scale distribution. She and her team are also overseeing an exciting site renovation that will spotlight the scale and sophistication of the Elan Group’s global operations. Nouzetwals has appointed their panels for both the Steering Group and the Judging Panel, and Ann-Marie was successfully selected. She is also hosting a series of working groups and forums to address key discussions around women’s health. Additional congratulations are offered following her successful health conference tour across Africa, where she continues to advance dialogue on women’s wellness and leadership in global healthcare. Ann Marie is also co-hosting an MQA approved training session - “Exploring Your Leadership Brand”. Edyta has had an exceptionally busy month. She launched her nationwide initiative, NouZetwals, and was featured in both the national press and on national TV. She also had the honour of meeting and speaking with the President of Mauritius, His Excellency Mr Dharambeer Gokhool.
In addition, she successfully appointed individuals to the judging panel and steering groups for the National Award and Summit taking place in April 2026. Chand Baungally has spent the last several months building the foundation for her next chapter in business. Chand is progressing through an incubation programme created and mentored by Alyx Jordan, designed to help founders build scalable and diversified ventures. Through the programme, Chand has developed and launched Chand Fitness, an online platform offering her personally designed fitness programmes for home and gym workouts, accessible worldwide through a curated video catalogue. Through this programme, Chand has also secured sponsorship and has established a panel of mentors across business, fitness, and finance to support her continued growth.
